Title of early 90's detective show?

i'm trying to figure out the name of a detective show from the early 90's i think. i was on around the same time (if not right before or after) as where in the world is carmen sandiego. it was a man and a woman team. there was a distinct theme song that sort of went like dun, dun, dun, dun....dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. all i can remember is one episode where they had to find a maltese falcon that was stolen from someone's house. someone please save me from my insanity!
