Boyfriend of 7 yrs shutting me out...?

Hes 26, Im 24. We live together and he works in sales. Money isnt that great for him right now so I'm paying all the bills. He said that he needed space so I have tried to give it to him. I dont call him or text. Well now I see num in his phone num. of girls he works w/. I know that they do have to keep in contact at work but he is spending all his free time at his guy friends house and went out this past weekend w/ his friend and other people he works w/ including the girls. I tried to talk to him about it and he said hes just trying to figure out where his future is going, and that hes stressed about money. He says he isnt doing anything w/ anyone else and still tells me he loves me. Am im being paranoid about the girls hes talking to, and the fact that he doesnt ever call me or really spend time w/ me? Am I to clingy? Or am I being played? I really love him and want to know how to bring us closer not push us further away. This has been going on for about 3 wks now.
