Should I continue with band?

Oh god, any system with marching oboe or boon has a stupid director. It's not meant to be a marching instrument- I major in it. Directors just do that because they don't like switching their students over to new instruments for the season. (Double reed music isn't written for the street or field)- Oboe is a scholarship instrument though- I got thousands going into college with it because they are non existent
