How would I go about changing branches?

I'm a Navy DEP recruit and my ship date is July 15th (this year). I'm thinking of changing to USMC but I don't know if I'm allowed. Does anyone here know if I can change branches? Or should I just serve my contract and THEN switch to USMC? any help would be greatly appreciated.
